The Samsung Galaxy Tab S10 FE and Galaxy Tab S10 FE Plus have finally been officially released by Samsung as the latest addition to its mid-range Android tablets. Surprisingly enough, both models come with a price increase of $50 compared to the previous models.
Samsung Galaxy Tab S10 FE and S10 FE Plus Display and Design
Galaxy Tab S10 FE is blessed with a 10.9-inch display, hitherto the standard size of Samsung tablets but now the new addition to the FE family. The Galaxy Tab S10 FE Plus, however, comes with a new 13.1-inch display, which slots in between the 12.4-inch S10 Plus and the S10 Ultra’s 14.6-inch display. The two tablets feature LCD displays with 90Hz refresh rates, offering silky-smooth visuals.
Performance and Storage
Internally, both devices are powered by Samsung’s Exynos 1580 chip, an upgrade to the Exynos 1380 found in previous Tab S9 FE models. They offer up to 12GB of RAM and 256GB of inbuilt storage to cater to individuals who require enough memory and storage capacity.
Camera and Battery
As far as cameras are concerned, both tablets feature a single 13-megapixel camera on the rear. The FE Plus model loses its older ultrawide camera, focusing instead on the new primary sensor. Although the screen size has been expanded, the FE Plus doesn’t feature a larger battery than the previous one; however, both models have been slimmed down compared to the previous ones.
Additional Features
Both tablets also have an IP68 rating, i.e., dust and water resistance. They also have the S Pen stylus, which comes in the box. This is a lower version of the S Pen, with no Bluetooth functionality, a carryover from last year’s FE series tablets. They will come with Android 15 and also have Samsung’s suite of AI features.
Pricing and Availability
The Galaxy Tab S10 FE is priced at $499.99, and the Galaxy Tab S10 FE Plus retails at $649.99, which is a $50 bump from the previous generation. The lower-end version of the smaller Tab S10 FE can also be purchased in a 5G version for $599.99. The tablets will launch on April 10th in the U.S., in gray, silver, and blue. They are now open for reservations.
Samsung’s latest launches try to provide enhanced performance and screen capabilities within the midrange tablet category, but at a premium price.
